Autumn Term programme for Cheltenham Music Festival Society events

Cheltenham & Gloucester

A series of concerts arranged by the Cheltenham Music Festival Society in collaboration with Chapel Arts. The Friday lunchtime concerts are free and the evening/weekend ones are only £5. Chapel Arts offers a wonderful platform for young musicians to learn their stagecraft.

Friday 1.00p.m. Lunchtime Concerts

·        Friday 4th October : Schola Cantorum { the choristers at Tewkesbury Abbey} who are pupils from Dean Close Preparatory School

·        Friday 11th October : Pate’s Grammar School

·        Friday 18th October : Bournside School

·        Friday 25th October & Friday 1st November : School Half Term holidays

·        Friday 8th November : Balcarras School

·        Friday 15th November : Rendcomb College

·        Friday 22nd November : Sir Thomas Rich’s School, Gloucester

·        Friday 29th November : Cheltenham Ladies’ College

·        Friday 6th December :  Schola Cantorum from Cheltenham College. Music for Advent & Christmas.

Friday Evening at 6 o’clock, and Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock Concerts

·        Sunday 22nd September : Alex.Clarke : pianist /composer from Cumbria with Lithuanian Soprano.

·        Friday 27th September : Michael Lai piano recital. Dean Close 13 year old  pupil.

·        Friday 4th October : Kylie Tsang Piano & Flute Recital . Kylie is a 15 year old Cheltenham Ladies’ College pupil.

·        Friday 11th October : Aaron Le Maistre Piano Recital. Aaron is a  17 year old pupil from St.Thomas Rich’s School.

·        Friday 18th October : David Lloyd Duo : Union of Strings

·        Friday 8th November : Megan Strachan Song Recital. Megan is young professional soprano from Nailsworth.

·        Sunday 17th November : Adam Heron Trio { BBC Young Musician Keyboard Finalist}.

·        Friday 22nd November : Aida Lahlou Piano Recital{ Aida is Japanese, and  was the other wonderful pianist when Adam Heron last visited to give a Piano Duo Recital}.

·        Friday 29th November : Hannah Hughes Song Recital. Hannah is a 16 year old pupil from Pate’s.
