Community Camp applications now open!
Applications for Eden Project Communities’ inspiring Community Camps in September and November are now open!
Community Camps are open to community-minded people from across the UK – we invite anyone with a passion for the community and a willingness to take action where they live to get in touch and apply.
Held at the beautiful Eden Project in Cornwall, the Camp is a four-day residential experience full of practical activities and workshops, and an opportunity to network and meet like-minded people keen to improve their community.
Organised by Eden Project Communities, the camps include workshop sessions from experienced practitioners, who will give you the tools to grow and develop your ideas and projects regardless of what stage you’re at.
Community Camps are fully-funded for successful applicants, including travel and accommodation — they are a great opportunity to visit and stay at the world-renowned Eden Project in Cornwall, and be supported to take the next step where you live. We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and abilities, and our team is available to answer questions regarding the application process or the camps themselves.
Nureen Glaves, founder of Feed Me Good and Community Camp alumni attended the residential weekend in 2018. Nureen said “Community Camp was just amazing. Not only did it reaffirm my belief in community, but taught me to acknowledge my greatness – you can’t stop your own shine.”
“I came away from Camp feeling positive about myself, and Feed Me Good. I had so many great experiences, met so many fantastic people, and learnt really practical skills!”
Nureen is one of over 1500 people to have come through the doors of Community Camp since it began, and like Nureen, 94% of people who’ve come to a Community Camp have gone on to do something in their communities using skills or information they’ve learnt at Camp.
Peter Lefort, Community Network Manager at Eden Project Communities said “Camp is such an exciting opportunity for community-driven individuals from across the UK to come together and grow their ideas to benefit their local area. The response from attendees is always overwhelmingly positive, and I’m looking forward to meeting this year’s group!”
