Review: Snow White, Vienna Festival Ballet

The Bacon Theatre, Cheltenham

SW 1

The Bacon Theatre played host this week to the Vienna Festival Ballet company with their mesmerising rendition of Snow White.
From the opening scene, the talented cast of dancers captured the innocence and beauty of this age-old tale. Both young and older members of the audience watched with delight as the story unfolded, their sensory experience enhanced by the original and magical score.

SW 3

The story begins in the Queen's castle where Snow White and her very own prince charming meet for the first time.  Their instant connection sends the queen into a jealous rage and Snow White is banished to the woods. To ensure the queen is the 'fairest in the land',  the role of execution is placed upon the now besotted huntsman.  Thankfully he cannot carry out the task and Snow White begins a new adventure with seven unique best friends.

SW 2

With strong performances throughout and seamless outfit changes the show did not disappoint.
The Vienna Festival Ballet tour continues nationwide until 10th December. For an enchanting family experience, book your tickets using the link below.
