Since June 2017, our 5-star rated, Ofqual regulated Qualsafe Awards Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work RQF) monthly open course on the 3rd Wednesday of every month in Cheltenham Town Centre.
Our training sessions are well supported and highly rated as our learners do use their first aid skills learnt with us to save lives
Cost: £120.00 + Vat per person
First aid is defined as the help given to a sick or injured person until full medical treatment is available. The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require an employer to provide suitable first aid cover in the workplace. Equally importantly, prompt attention and treatment can define the course of recovery for the casualty.
This qualification has been developed to meet the first aid training requirements outlined by the H.S.E. and includes:
- What is first aid?
- First aid in the workplace
- Responsibilities of the first aider
- Primary survey
- Unconscious casualty management
- Resuscitation
- Choking
- Theory and practice roleplays with training AED defibrillators
- Shock
- Wounds and Bleeding
- Minor burns
- Seizures
