Gloucestershire Advanced Motorists. A local Group of IAM RoadSmart

Gloucestershire Advanced Motorists is a regional Group of IAM RoadSmart. The biggest independent Road Safety Charity. The group is run entirely by volunteers and exists with the aim of encouraging drivers in Gloucestershire to become safer and better.
The group operates across the county including Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Stroud, The Forest of Dean and the North Cotswolds.
IAM Observers in the Group are all qualified to Institute of Motor Industry and DVLA standards and offer expert coaching to Advanced Driver standard. Our products include:
Free Taster drives - a 1 hour drive in the client's car with an Observer to make recommendations on driving standards.
Free attendance at our quarterly "Introduction to Advanced Driving Seminars". A Saturday morning event explaining the concepts of IAM RoadSmart Advanced Driving.
IAM RoadSmart Advanced Driver courses.
A Young Driver scheme offers full funding for Advanced Driver courses for drivers under the age of 26.
We also hold member's group meetings and driving events throughout the year.
To be a full member of the Group, applicants must have passed the Advanced Driver Test. However, anyone can join the Group as a friend.
