Cotswolds Hare Trail in The Suffolks Cheltenham

One of the Cotswolds Hare Trail hares has taken residence in The Suffolks area of Cheltenham for the spring and summer of 2017. If you want to see it, come to the Suffolks to support local independent traders and see if you can find out where the hare is as it will be moving around all summer.

It was painted by Jan Knibbs from Atelier 19, on Suffolk Road, Cheltenham.

Jan Says "The design incorporates lots of images of the history of Cheltenham and the Suffolks. I have included the coat of arms of the Earl of Suffolk as well as the Cheltenham Coat of arms. One ear has a pigeon and one a penguin. Both birds are significant to Cheltenham; pigeons first found the spa water and Edward Wilson was the great Cheltenham explorer. There are also images of Holst, a Cheltenham races ticket and Kit Williams' hare brooch and more."

The Suffolks Hare is called "We're all mad hare."
