Postponed: Renee Elliott book signing: Pimlico
Sadly today’s book signing has been postponed. We are working with Renée to book in another date in the future and will of course keep you posted.
We are overjoyed to welcome Renée Elliott to Daylesford on two separate occasions to sign copies and celebrate the launch of her fantastic new book, What to Eat & How to Eat It: 99 super ingredients for a healthy life.
An indispensable guide to have to hand, What to Eat & How to Eat It: 99 super ingredients for a healthy life will help you navigate the many ingredients now available in the food landscape, from baobab to barley to broccoli and beyond. Renée explores the benefits of each ingredient, sharing tips for ways to eat and how to use them, with over 120 recipes in total.
Her view is that eating well is about ordinary, everyday foods like apples that may surprise you with their goodness, foods like miso that you may have heard of but are not yet using and “superfoods” like maca that you may not have heard of yet.
Renée Elliott and Daylesford’s philosophies on key issues such as food, farming, sustainability and the environment are closely aligned. A pioneering entrepreneur who has been committed to wellness and the organic movement for 30 years, Renée founded Planet Organic, the UK’s first organic supermarket in 1995 and has done a huge amount to raise the profile of organic food over the years. She has served as a Trustee of the Soil Association and is now on the Soil Association’s Catering Mark Standards Committee, promoting healthier menus in schools, universities, hospitals, care homes and caterers.
‘What to Eat and How to Eat it’ is published by Pavilion Books and available to buy at Daylesford stores.
