Each year, Baby Loss Awareness month takes place during October and is an opportunity to remember, reflect and raise awareness about pregnancy loss and baby death. Thousands of people in the UK are affected by the death of a baby or experience pregnancy loss every year and this month provides an opportunity to commemorate this loss.

Baby Loss Awareness week, starting on 9th October and ending on 15th, is the key week during which over 60 charities across the UK come together to raise awareness of pregnancy loss or baby death in the UK. This week is also an opportunity for bereaved families around the world to unite and remember their babies.


on October 15th, the International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day.

Bereaved families and friends across the world are invited to light a candle at7pm local time to remember all the babies who died too soon. With the lighting of candles taking place all over the world, this will result in a wave of light across the globe.
