Join the City of Bristol Brass Band as they bring the ‘Shire’ to Gloucestershire at St Mary’s, Berkeley this May.

Step into the enchanting world of Middle-earth and experience an evening of magical music inspired by 'The Lord of the Rings'. Featuring film music by Howard Shore from 'The Fellowship of the Ring', and 'Hobbits' and 'Gandalf' by Dutch composer Johan De Meij, this mesmerising programme promises to evoke Tolkien’s epic saga of hobbits, elves and wizards. Be transported to other worlds with a befitting additional performance of Mars and Uranus from Gustav Holst’s The Planets Suite.

 


Formed in 1936, the City of Bristol Brass Band are a Championship section 30-strong brass ensemble who perform regularly in and around the UK and internationally.

Tickets are priced from £8, and free for carers and under 18s. Available now via TicketSource. Booking fees apply.
