'I need to tell a secret...'
Phoenix is a whirlwind ride that shines a light on the darker aspects of relationships and explores how we might cultivate healthier relationships with ourselves and each other.
Set to the razor sharp beats of a live percussionist, Phoenix uses spoken word poetry, movement and good old fashioned storytelling to explore the messy joy of being alive. It'll grab you by the heart strings and won't let go until the last beat has been drummed.
Audience feedback includes: ‘masterful... entirely captivating...innovative, moving & splendidly performed.’
Helen Percival is a RADA trained actor and writer. Credits include The Mousetrap (UK Tour), The Last Time I saw Caileigh (New York) and The Secret History of WW2 (Ch 5.)
Manu Joste is an international percussionist who has performed around the world with the Philharmonia Orchestra, the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Orchestre de Paris.
