WOOL PACK: A Celebration of British Wool

OOL PACK is a selling exhibition celebrating the rich heritage of British sheep breeds and their wool with new work from Guild Members and three invited guest exhibitors.

Alison Ellen – Wearable Textiles
Using hand-dyed British wool, Alison has made a stunning collection of garments for this show.

ose Heroys - Birds
A crochet artist making life-like birds from natural fibres. Jose's sculptures seek to capture the character and energy of each bird, and the emotional response we have to it.




Janie Withers Knitted - Lighting
A collection of innovative lighting handmade with natural fibres.




Guildmember and woodcarver Fiona Valentine keeps sheep herself and works as a shepherd for others. She has hand carved a sheep piece, plus another representing the sheepdog. Textile designer Jan McMillan is knitting 14 berets, each one using a specific sheep breed.
