Join Babel Babies in John Lewis and Partners, Cheltenham, for a weekly music and languages session in the Discovery Room on Tuesdays 11am - 12pm in July and August!

Babel Babies is a multi-award-winning, multi-lingual music session for families to explore the world together through  songs and stories in a variety of languages including French, Italian, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Arabic, Japanese, Russian, Welsh. It's a unique approach based on the natural language-learning process that humans have developed over thousands of years through singing songs and reading stories with their babies and children. It will feel effortless and fun to learn languages with your little ones as you sing languages together!

The sessions are suitable for all parents with children from birth to school age, and families from all over the world have been coming together to explore the globe and where languages come from. So whether you are from Russia or Japan, the UK or the Netherlands, this is an international group that is ready to welcome you and your family right in the heart of Cheltenham with easy parking on site.

These weekly John Lewis sessions include half an hour of music and stories, followed by time to chat for the grown-ups and colouring-in for the little ones who will collect a limited edition illustrated postcard of a song in a different foreign language each week. All for £7!

Places are limited and booking is now open for the June and July sessions with our session leader Danni Blackburn, an experienced languages teacher and mother who will help your family sing, learn and love languages together.
