Come along to the museum for storytelling and some fun activities in the home that belonged to our founder, Sir Peter Scott.
It’s a time capsule full of interesting things to look at and learn about.

 

Date and time: Tours run at 11am every Thursday morning, throughout the school holidays. Tours last approximately 40 minutes.

Explore the main rooms of the museum with our guides through storytelling and hands on activities to learn about Sir Peter Scott, artist and conservationist.

About the tour:

The tours are suitable for children between 5-10 years old but other ages are welcome.
Children can be accompanied by up to a maximum of 2 adults each.
The stories have an art or conservation message relating to Peter Scott and there will also be some hands on activities along with some handouts to take home.
The 1950’s house is bursting at the seams with his personal belongings – from notebooks and sketches to books and record collection, so come and have a look around!
Meeting point: 10 minutes before the tour start time, please wait by the Peter Scott exhibition in the admissions area. The tour length includes the walk time to and from the house.

Cost: Included with admission to the centre. There is no additional charge for this tour, however we kindly ask visitors to make a voluntary donation to help us preserve the Scott House Museum for future generations.
