The festival season has begun! This Month's Top Ten includes a host of fabulous events including the years first festivals.
1. Cheltenham Jazz Festival
Alongside the Festival bar and market, festival-goers are able to see some of the music scene’s biggest names and best emerging talent in the Big Top and Jazz Arena. With free outdoor music and fun family activities, Montpellier Gardens is the place to soak up an outstanding festival atmosphere.

2. The Suffolks Sunday Market and Jazz Fringe, Cheltenham
It’s the first Sunday Market of 2019 and we can’t wait to see you. Market stalls, street food, performers and all that Jazz!

3. 2019 Cotswold Cogfest, Minchinhampton
We are again returning to Minchinhampton Primary school for this year's 60 mile, 30 mile and family rides. We couldn't be more excited to look forward to spring riding!!
The ride route takes in the best of the Cotswold views and some great stopping points along the way, plus the famous event village at the end of the ride, with locally sourced Bacon rolls and fabulous coffee, plus many other events in the event village.

4. Dragon Boat Regatta 2019, Gloucester
The Dragon Boat Regatta returns to Gloucester Docks on Sunday 12th May with the annual staging of this colourful and popular event in Gloucester Docks.
Companies, societies and groups of friends will make up the 30 teams paddling against one another.
A full day's entertainment for the whole family so join us for some fiery dragon fun.

5. Cheltenham Festival of Performing Arts 2019
The Cheltenham Festival of Performing Arts returns with an enjoyable two weeks of performances by children and adults from Gloucestershire and all over the UK. Each day is different and includes dance, music, and drama.

6. Cheltenham Cocktail Week 2019
Cocktail Week has become an integral part of the Cheltenham calendar and this year there will even more bars, pubs, clubs, restaurants, and hotels taking part.
Now in its third year, Cheltenham Cocktail Week offers cocktail fans the opportunity to visit some of their favorite venues - and try some new ones – to experience some exclusive cocktails. Many venues will have cocktails for just £6 whilst others are offering a food and drink pairing.

8. Giffords Circus Xanadu at various venues across Gloucestershire
Roll up, roll in to the stately pleasure-dome for miracles, song, symphony and enchantment. Musicians, horses, clowns and tumblers enfolded in this joyful paradise, with music loud and long - the Giffords Circus caravan will be taking to the road for a 2019 summer of love.

9. Gloucester Tall Ships Festival 2019
Gloucester Tall Ships continues to be a huge hit with families, coach groups and ship enthusiasts, drawing audiences from around the country, with the 2015 festival attracting 125,000 people over the bank holiday weekend. What makes the event so distinctive is its setting in the UK’s most inland port surrounded by beautifully-preserved Victorian warehouses.

...AND ONE FOR LUCK! Robert Dover's Cotswold Olimpick Games 2019, Chipping Campden
Each year, on the traditional date of Friday after Spring Bank Holiday, the hill echoes with the shouts and cheers of competitors as Robert Dover’s Cotswold ‘Olimpick’ Games (not Olympic Games) are celebrated. Bands march, cannon fire, rustic activities and wrestling take place, and the evening is brought to a close with fireworks and a torchlight procession into Chipping Campden.
