Hosted by Prestbury People Planet Waste Not, Want Not - Learn to Tread Lightly on our Planet is a free event on Saturday 5th April from 10am-3.30pm and open to anyone with a desire to learn more about sustainable living. This fun and educational event at Prestbury Hall, Bouncers Lane, Cheltenham, features stands from local businesses, charities, and Guiding organisations, plus bookable talks throughout the day from:
- 10.30am Cameron Thomas MP will update us on the latest from Parliament on green issues including reducing waste.
- 11.30am Raechel Kelly will talk about transforming our economics to be more sustainable often called the circular or doughnut economics
- 12.30pm Tony Faulkner from Print Waste shows how we can securely get rid of paper waste and not lose our identity to thieves.
- 1.30pm Panel with Jan Foster, Karen Watson and Cate Cody will explain what really happens to our waste and what more we can do to reduce it.
Discover practical tips and tricks to reduce waste, conserve energy, and minimize your carbon footprint. From composting to upcycling, we'll cover it all! Come together with like-minded individuals to make a positive impact on our planet. Let's take small steps towards a greener future, starting right here at this event. See you there!
