May Day, celebrated on May 1st, is a European festival of ancient origins marking the beginning of summer, often involving dancing around a maypole, crowning a May Queen, and gathering wildflowers. It has roots in ancient agricultural rituals and is also associated with the celebration of spring and the fertility of the land. Join us for a nature walk, as we celebrate the beginning of summer with a relaxed stroll.

Walk starts at 2.30pm

Wear sensible shoes.

Walk will last approximately 30-40 minutes.

This is a free event.

Join us for a cuppa and refreshments after the walk in the Old Baptist Chapel.
