ADHD + Neuro-Divergence: Women Leaders Breaking the Neuro-Typical Mould
Virtual
Dates: 17/03/2025
Join Natalie Alsop, business owner, single mum, and Voices of Women co-author, as she shares her lived experience of running a business while navigating life with ADHD. This 30-minute talk, followed by a 15-minute Q&A, will dive into:
🔍 Challenging the status quo: What does “neuro-typical” really mean, and why do we accept it?
💡 The power of neuro-divergency: How ADHD and other neuro-divergent traits can actually transform leadership.
🎯 Overcoming barriers: Why our academic-focused society overlooks creative and innovative minds.
I’m stepping out of my comfort zone and onto the stage (well screen) to share some of my story as a single mum, business leader, and someone living with ADHD. This is a deeply personal talk, and to be honest, it feels a little terrifying. But I know this message matters.
✨ Why am I sharing this now? Because being vulnerable, as hard as it is, is necessary in order to share my story and inspire other women to recognise and accept our differences and see strength in them.
I’d love your support to this online Zoom event—please come with an open mind.
Please share this with your wider network or someone who you think could benefit from knowing they are not alone.
