Join us in the Cotswolds for an introduction to creating resin geode art. An exciting opportunity for beginners looking to explore using epoxy resin to create on-trend, sparkly and highly pigmented shaped art.

You will work with our non-toxic, odourless BPA-free 1 to 1 epoxy art resin, learning how to measure, mix and pour resin so that you can continue your resin geode adventures at home. After a short demonstration from our resin experts, you will be hands-on with our resin and pigments, learning how to:

Prepare and plan your process
Measure, mix and add colour to your resin
Encourage pigment interactions
Embellish your geodes with gilding flake, crystals, crushed glass, sparkles, colour nuggets, glitter and more!
Explore opaque, transparent and metallic pigments along with our natural mica powder
Pour onto exclusive Resin8 pre-cut MDF geode shapes
Experiment with a mini freeform geode
Achieve a perfect finish, removing any bubbles that appear
Use tips, trade secrets and techniques
Make use of leftover resin.

Our resin experts will show you how to use pigmented resin, how to manipulate and encourage the direction of flow by pouring in layers and you will have the opportunity to use our brilliant selection of Resin8 pigments, sparkle and texture.

Your resin artwork will need to cure overnight and therefore will be posted to you after the workshop. With this in mind, you will be able to visit the Resin8 warehouse where you can view and purchase our vast range of pigments, powders, resins, embellishments, tools and more to take home with you. Resin gives you wonderful creative freedom. Colour it, make it sparkle and shimmer, embed things in it... the only limit is your imagination!

We will show you how to create your very own resin masterpieces without using expensive or sophisticated equipment, and in this 6 hour workshop you will make at least 4 pieces of artwork.
