A seasonal women’s circle, dance performance, campfire & warming food in the woods for women.

With dancer and musician Hayley J S Matthews & Women’s Circle Facilitator Emma Johnson.

We’ll conjure a deep, metabolising ecology, with this beautiful feminist work. ‘Landings’ are events of contemporary dancer and musician Hayley J S Matthews’s wild dance practice, alongside shared meals, circles and campfires. They are moving through the UK and Ireland in 2024/25 in collaboration with some beautiful folk. In Gloucestershire the talented Emma Johnson of The Wild Circle is collaborator. For a year long journey through the seasons and our seasons, with women.

Our first in Gloucestshire, in a year's circle, is November 30 2024, 12-4PM. In Hailey's Wood, near Stroud. Nearest station, Kemble. We'll send you the meeting location on booking, and walk together to our woodland hearth.

The dance we'll be with in November is called 'Lakes of Anima', it lands us in the most velvet dark part of the year.
