When the sun goes down, a whole new world lights up at WWT Slimbridge.

This all new for 2024, Halloween Light Trail, will take you on a journey that’s every bit as amazing as the wildlife you’ll see during the day at WWT Slimbridge.

Discover the Marsh Witch and her potions, pumpkins, shipwrecks, scarecrows, bats, broomsticks, and much more.

Make a wish with her in the pond zone, get creative in the arts and craft area, or toast marshmallows in the firepit.

Dates: Friday 11 & Saturday 12, Friday 18 & Saturday 19 October and Half Term: Friday 25 October - Sunday 3 November

Time slots: 5.30pm, 5.45pm, 6pm, 6.15pm, 6.30pm, 6.45pm, 7pm, 7.15pm, 7.30pm, 7.45pm, 8pm

SENS sessions are also available on: 11, 12, 18 & 19 October at 6pm & 6.15pm and 25 October at 5.30pm & 5.45pm. These sessions are specifically designed to be more accessible and comfortable for individuals who may be sensitive to intense sensory experiences. The key differences in these sessions include:

- Twilight Timing - take place before it gets too dark, during twilight, so the lighting is softer and less overwhelming.
- The background music played throughout the trail is toned down to a lower volume and the actors involved in the event will adopt a more relaxed approach.

Cost: Adult: £14.50, Child: £12.50, Under 4s: Free. (Please note ticket prices are the same for WWT members and non-members as this is an external event).
