Brand new musical featuring all of Dolly Parton's greatest hits comes to Cheltenham next week!
Cheltenham
Venue: Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham
A brand new musical featuring all of Dolly Parton's greatest hits will come to Cheltenham next week. Here You Come Again, which features the timeless songs of the country music legend comes to the Everyman Theatre from Tuesday 15th - Saturday 19th October.
Here You Come Again has been captivating audiences across the UK since June and is set to bring its high-energy charm to Gloucestershire. Written by the multi-Emmy award-winning comedy writer Bruce Vilanch, alongside Gabriel Barre, who directs the show, and starring Tricia Paoluccio, as the beloved Dolly Parton, this musical is a celebration of Dolly’s greatest hits.
For the first time ever, fans will experience all of Dolly’s biggest songs in one show, including classics like Jolene, 9 to 5, Islands in the Stream, I Will Always Love You, and Here You Come Again. This lively and touching story follows Kevin, a 40-year-old comedian who imagines his idol, Dolly Parton, helping him navigate the ups and downs of life. Through her wit, humour, and charm, Dolly inspires him to overcome his challenges and embrace the joy of living, even without rhinestones on his bootstraps!
Fully authorised by Dolly Parton herself, Here You Come Again promises to be a feel-good experience that will leave audiences smiling and singing along. Following its successful run in the U.S., this musical comedy is now poised to make its mark in the UK, and comes to Cheltenham prior to a West End transfer.
Tickets for Here You Come Again are available now at the Everyman Theatre box office and online at: https://www.everymantheatre.org.uk/shows/here-you-come-again/
