Luxury sleep mask donation to support patients of Sue Ryder

A donation of silk sleep masks will hopefully help people receiving care from Cheltenham based Sue Ryder hospice enjoy a more relaxing night’s sleep.

The sumptuous silk sleep masks have once again been donated by Drowsy, a Swindon based business with a global cult following. Clinical team leader Lydia Harris took delivery of the beauty editor favourite sleep aids, she said: “Having difficulty sleeping can have a significant effect on wellbeing and the people we care for with life-limiting conditions often experience sleep related issues. It can also have the added impact of making other physical or emotional symptoms they are experiencing more challenging to cope with.

“The sleep masks Drowsy gave us back in 2022 have been extremely popular so we are incredibly grateful that they have reached out to us again. This year’s generous donation will really benefit not only the patients we care for in our specialist inpatient unit and those who are supported by our Hospice at Home team, but also people who attend our community hub for complimentary therapies and ‘living well’ sessions. Thank you to the team at Drowsy for their continued support.”

The Drowsy sleep masks are made with mulberry silk and are padded, making it exquisitely soft and comfortable to wear. It is designed to block out 100% of light and can be tailored to fit with an adjustable band, helping the wearer to have the most relaxing experience possible.
