**Peter Powell Kites Announces Winner of 2024 Pumpkin Carving Competition**

**Cheltenham, UK – Saturday 9th November 2024 – Peter Powell Kites is excited to announce the winner of its 2024 Pumpkin Carving Competition, an annual event that brings together families and creative minds during the Halloween season. This year’s competition saw an overwhelming response with dozens of entries showcasing impressive pumpkin designs, all vying for a chance to win their very own Peter Powell Kite.

The competition, which was open to all ages, invited participants to share their pumpkin creations via social media or email, with no entry limit per person. The only rule was to have fun and get creative – with a winner selected at random. In a special twist this year, Peter Powell Kites reached out to Max Wilkinson, the Liberal Democrat Member of Parliament for Cheltenham, who graciously agreed to help pick the winner. On Saturday, 9th November, at 12:00 PM, Max drew the winning name outside the Regent Arcade in Cheltenham, and the lucky winner was Bethannie Boyce age 9.

Bethannie is the recipient of the coveted prize: *The World’s Original Dual Line Stunt Kite*, a classic that won Toy of the Year in 1976 and has since sold millions worldwide. Bethannie will be able to choose their very own Peter Powell Kite from a wide range of colours available on the Peter Powell Kites website (www.peterpowellkites.co.uk).
