State-of-the-art gym refurbishment announced for Leisure at Cheltenham

A COMPLETE refurbishment of the gym facilities at Leisure at Cheltenham has been announced, in partnership with Cheltenham Borough Council as part of our ongoing commitment to providing the best possible experience for members.

The transformation will include new state-of-the-art equipment and a fresh, modern design for the fitness suite at the Leisure at Cheltenham centre. The new-look gym will officially re-open on Thursday 2 January 2025.

Work begins on Monday 9 December, when the gym will be closed for two days to prepare the site. A temporary gym will open on Wednesday 11 December, offering members a limited selection of equipment and small group classes in our new PT studio. Staff and signs will be available to guide members to the temporary space.

The newly refurbished gym will open for members with a soft launch on Friday 27 December, although some minor work may continue during this period. The official re-opening of the new-look gym will follow on Thursday 2 January, with all works fully completed.

During the refurbishment, all other facilities at Leisure at Cheltenham will operate as normal, although minor disruptions may occur, including painting within the current gym.

This exciting project reflects our dedication to improving your fitness journey and ensuring Leisure at Cheltenham remains a premier destination for health and wellness in the community.
