Headway Gloucestershire Welcomes the Sunshine

 Here at Headway Gloucestershire we support people with an acquired brain injury and their families and carers. 

We are an independent Charity affiliated to Headway UK and we are based near the Gloucester Royal Hospital. For more information about what we do, please visit www.headwaygloucestershire.org.uk.

We were lucky enough to receive funding from The Cheltenham Gold Cup Community Fund to support the fundraising we had already undertaken and this means that we now have beautiful awnings on our building.

 

Peter Davies (Trustee and Chair of the Management Board) said ‘ We are delighted to have received the support from the Cheltenham Gold Cup Community Fund which has made a real difference to how we use the building’

This means that we can use the outside space safely when (or perhaps if!) the sun shines and also keep the Day Room cooler when it is hot. Pro-Door of Coleford did an excellent job in ordering and installing the Awnings.

Julie Reader-Sullivan (CEO of Headway Gloucestershire) said ‘ Andre Klein Assistant General Manager at Cheltenham Racecourse has been amazing in providing Headway Gloucestershire with opportunities to promote what we do and improve our building.’
