Local Gloucestershire Business Owner John Fisher Elected to CompTIA Community – UK & Ireland Executive Council

John Fisher, Founder and Managing Director of Westway IT, a local Gloucestershire business, has been elected to the CompTIA Community—UK & Ireland Executive Council, the global non-profit trade association for the computing technology industry. This esteemed position is a testament to John's exceptional leadership abilities and his peers' trust and confidence in his vision for the future.

John joined CompTIA as a member in June 2022. The CompTIA UK & Ireland community brings together technology professionals to discuss opportunities and global trends; offering shared best practices, training, insights and collaboration opportunities to help members showcase how technology can support and elevate British and Irish businesses. Its core goal is to help improve the future of the IT industry through its elected executive council, which comprises industry leaders and consultants.

 

 

As a member of the Executive Council, John will play a vital role in shaping the strategic direction of the CompTIA UK & Ireland Community. His responsibilities include:
