Jackpot! Gloucestershire housebuilder’s £10,000 community fund is back

Gloucestershire

A local housebuilder has relaunched its scheme to support deserving community initiatives across Gloucestershire.

Redrow South West, which is currently building new homes at three developments in the region, has relaunched its £10,000 community fund this year. They aim to fund as many local groups, organisations and individuals as possible – and are now welcoming applications.

There’s no cause too small, so whether funds are needed to help children get creative at Brownies, a search and rescue team in need of new lifejackets, or a local children’s group wishing to go on their first ever camp out, Redrow South West’s initiative can help.

The initiative, which started last year, aims to help organisations with specific donations and give them the tools they need to continue to flourish. Last year, Redrow South West donated £10,000 to winners including, Amicus Health General Practice, which provides free counselling and psychotherapy for children and young people.

Sian Smith, Sales Director at Redrow South West, said: “Our aim is to create and support thriving communities in and around our developments. With the success of last year's community fund last year, we knew we needed to re-launch again to support even more people.

“We’d like to invite groups and charities to share their stories and tell us exactly what they need, could be new supplies for an afterschool club or help with a local charity initiative. We want to know what would help your community to thrive!

“We’re looking forward to hearing how we can help people across Gloucestershire and the surrounding area.”

The fund will open on Monday 22nd July and will close at midnight on Monday 30th September.
