From a young age, I was captivated by the world of numbers and problem-solving, which fueled my aspiration to become an accountant. This passion led me to earn a Master’s degree in Accounting and Auditing, providing a solid academic foundation for my career. Shortly after, I began my professional journey as a Revenue Inspector for HMRC Bulgaria. Over three fulfilling years, I gained invaluable experience, refined my skills, and earned a respected reputation within the industry.

 

But life had its challenges. Following a difficult divorce, I faced a turning point. Rebuilding my life in Bulgaria proved complicated, and the stress affected my health, leading to a diagnosis of epilepsy. Accepting this diagnosis was tough, but as a mother, I knew I had to prioritize my health for my daughter’s sake. Seeking a fresh start, I made the bold decision to move to the UK, embracing the unknown while navigating the hurdles of language barriers and single motherhood.

Starting Over in a New Country
Adapting to life in the UK was not easy. My accounting qualifications weren’t recognized, requiring me to start over. Determined, I enrolled with the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) to requalify while supporting myself by working in a cleaning company. Balancing work, studies, and motherhood was a monumental challenge, but each obstacle strengthened my resolve to create a better life for my daughter and myself.

With perseverance, I earned my UK accounting qualifications and built my business from the ground up. This marked the beginning of AD Accounting and Business Solutions Limited, a firm born from hard work and resilience. Today, I proudly serve small and medium-sized businesses, providing financial guidance that empowers them to grow sustainably.
