Town launch new British Heart Foundation third kit

Cheltenham Town will be wearing a one-off third shirt in support of the British Heart Foundation (BHF) for this month’s Sky Bet League Two home fixture against Salford City at the EV Charger Points Stadium.

The Club’s Principal Partners, Mira Showers, have once again donated their front-of-shirt sponsorship to their Official Charity in the BHF to help raise awareness and support.

Mira’s logo will be replaced with the charity logo to help maximise exposure for the BHF, which targets fighting heart and circulatory diseases, responsible for causing the biggest number of deaths worldwide.

This season, the BHF are partnered with the English Football League’s (EFL) headline sponsor Sky Bet, who have launched the ‘Every Minute Matters’ campaign to get 270,000 football fans learning CPR – using the BHF’s online tool RevivR.

Michael Flynn’s side will take to the field against the Ammies on Saturday 25th January in a black shirt with red emblazoned throughout, one of the key colours of the BHF brand.

Another Club partner, Smarta Energy & Smarta Water, have also kindly donated their sleeve sponsorship to the cause on the third kit.

The campaign comes about following the success of the ‘design your own third shirt’ competition last year which raised over £6,500 for the Child Poverty Action Group, where the Robins wore a special one-off kit during their Boxing Day victory over Shrewsbury Town.

Supporters will have a chance to get hold of the kit with the limited-edition shirts to be made available in the club shop soon, with £5 of every purchase going to the BHF.

There will also be an online auction and special prize draw for fans to bid for their chance to win match-worn shirts from the Salford game, all proceeds will also go to the charity.
