REVIEW: Bugsboarding Mountainboard Centre

Arriving on a beautiful, sunny Sunday we were privileged to be able to take in the amazing views this centre has to offer. Situated just outside the charming village of Maisemore, Bugsboarding Mountainboard Centre has so much to offer thrill-seeking families.

Having younger children we opted for grass sledging as it was a sitting down activity and one we were yet to try. Nina greeted us on arrival and soon had us fitted out with helmets and sledges. After a detailed safety talk and demonstration, the bravest member of our family (our 9-year-old daughter) stepped forward to take the first ride down the hill.

With speed and squeals of laughter, she safely reached the bottom and was soon joined by the rest of the family.

To save your legs from getting tired a ‘pick up truck’ circles the site to allow adventurers to get a lift back to the top of the hill. This also allows for maximum turns during your allotted time slot.

Both young and old can enjoy this sport and paying only £7 per sledge, per half an hour it is fantastic value for money.

Other sports on offer include Hoverboarding, Mountainboarding, Dirt Scooting and Mountain-biking.

My children have not stopped talking about their experience so, thank you to Nina and the crew, we will definitely be back for more!
