The Elmore Chamber Music Festival takes place in the historic 13th century church of St. John the Baptist, Elmore, situated close to the banks of the River Severn in the heart of the picturesque Gloucestershire countryside.

Taking place each year during the first weekend in August, it is organised and run by a team of young professional musicians. The Festival provides a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in which the audience can experience exceptional classical chamber music played by the best and critically acclaimed young musicians of their generation.

Since the Festival's launch in 2020, St. John's has provided a unique setting for this music to be appreciated and enjoyed to the full.

ECMF is also passionate about providing the best possible hospitality for the audience, both before and after each concert. The Festival Bar, in proud partnership with Gloucester's multi award winning 'Pelican Inn', is privileged to offer an exceptional range of drinks including local ciders and freshly brewed cask ales from the Hereford based 'Wye Valley Brewery', located just across the River Severn.

Building on the success of our previous festivals, we are now looking forward to our fifth season to be held from the 7th - 10th of August 2024.
