Gloucester Choral Society presents Verdi Requiem led by acclaimed choral and orchestral director, Adrian Partington. This is a wonderful opportunity to hear Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi’s iconic masterpiece live in the historic setting of Gloucester Cathedral.

Four excellent professional soloists will be supported by the chorus in what is probably the most dramatic and operatic of all sacred works. Most people have probably heard ‘Dies Irae’ (The day of wrath), even if they’re unaware of the fact, as it’s appeared in so many adverts over the years. A stunningly dramatic and powerful operatic chorus describing the day of judgement. This will be a firecracker of a concert for sure!
