SCYC and The Minpins 10th Anniversary Concert

Founded in 2015 as the children’s branch of The Stroud Choral Society, The Minpins were formed to perform the children’s choruses of the Stroud Choral Society commission ‘The Pelicantata’. In 2017 the Stroud Choral Youth Choir (SCYC) were formed so that those who were too old to be Minpins could carry on singing. This concert celebrates 10 years of the choir going from strength to strength and over 40 young singers will entertain you with a variety of music from many different genres. The talent of these young people is also celebrated with several instrumental and vocal solo pieces.

The concert will include the first ever performance of our new anniversary commission ‘Pop Goes The Weasel! and other Nursery Songs’ by Peter Ash - Nursery rhymes as you’ve never heard them before!

St George’s Church, Nailsworth. 6.30pm

Ticket £14 adults, U18 £4, preschool children free.
