Gin & Gems in Winchcombe

To brighten up the New Year, Just Gems of Winchcombe have arranged a couple of special dinner evenings at the excellent No 5 restaurant (5northstreetrestaurant.co.uk) just up the road from our shop in Winchcombe. There is a choice of two Thursday evenings in February, 19th or the 26th, to enjoy good food, wine and company, all in aid of two important local charities.

 

 

All proceeds from the evenings will be donated to the Winchcombe Museum, impressively managed custodian of the history and artefacts of our ancient town; and the Gloucestershire & Warwickshire Steam Railway; both being major visitor attractions to Winchcombe and with lots of expensive infrastructure to maintain!

 

 

The evening will start at 7pm with a gin tasting (wine and soft drinks available too) by the Cotswolds Distillery, served with canapes, to be followed by a delicious dinner prepared by Marcus (Gus) Ashenford of No 5.

 

Tickets for the event are £120 each including gin, wine and soft drinks. Places are limited to 24 each evening and tickets can be purchased in advance from Just Gems 01242 806164. Please do come along and join us, and encourage your friends and neighbours to accompany you too.
