Public Hearts Defib Campaign is delighted to hold another funded Heart Screening Day in St Paul's Cheltenham with Cardiac Risk in the Young

14-35 year olds! Join us on 28 JAN 2025 for our heart screening event at the School House Café in St Paul's Cheltenham.

Take charge of your heart health and take advantage of this new opportunity!

 

Cheltenham's not for profit community campaign, Public Hearts is teaming up again with amazing and impactful heart screening charity, Cardiac Risk in the Young.

Their team of healthcare professionals will give ECGs using a machine to record your heart's electrical activity to produce a graph that shows your heart's rhythm and rate and to answer any questions.
A heart screen is safe, easy and takes about 20 minutes.

Don't miss this opportunity to prioritise your heart's well-being!

Each week in the UK, 12 young people age between 14 and 35 die from sudden cardiac arrest. On 28 JAN 2025, with Cardiac Risk in the Young up to 100 young people will have an ECG to detect potential heart conditions.

Our first heart screening date was 25 April 2024 9-4pm at The Schoolhouse Café where 101 young people (14-35) from the local community and residents of St Paul’s came to be screened. It was a great success and we are already looking forward to our next date in 2025!
