Stonehouse Walking Festival

Stonehouse

Dates: 6th to 15th September 2024

We are very pleased and excited to announce our 5th Stonehouse Walking Festival from Friday 6th to Sunday 15th September 2024.

The Festival includes a wide variety of guided walks for all ages and abilities – and it's free! The walks on offer range from short walks and strolls, to day-long hikes for fitter walkers. There will even be a boat trip suitable for wheelchair users and pushchairs. The festival will include walks highlighting the history of the Stroudwater canal, and the on-going project to restore the missing mile to Saul.

Stonehouse town is an ideal base for exploring this area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on our doorsteps. Pathways including the Cotswold Way lead in all directions across fields, through woodlands, along canal, river and rail trails, and onto rolling countryside, hills and valleys. Panoramic views can be enjoyed all around, including across to the Severn valley and beyond.
Join us for the walking festival. It's a great opportunity to meet like-minded people, and to find out more about where we live and its beautiful surroundings.

Full brochure is available to view online, or pick up a printed copy at the Stonehouse Town Hall and several other local businesses. Please register/book for all walks on our website.
