Edge of Vision Exhibition

Stroud

5th October - 3rd November 2019

Opening at the Museum in the Park, Stratford Park Stroud an exhibition of work from three extraordinary artists.

Noela Bewry, Sue Rae with work from Maggie Shaw that has not been shown in public before.

This exhibition showcases the work of three abstract artists, Noela Bewry, Sue Rae and the late Maggie Shaw. They exhibited several times together and their various starting points for abstract painting included landscape, atmosphere, musical forms and structures, memories and emotional impulses. This selection brings together a diverse range of work, taking the audience to the edges of visual experiences.

Sue Rae and Noela Bewry will be hosting a free, drop in ‘walk and talk’ gallery session on Sunday 13 October between 2pm and 4pm. They will also be running two creative collage workshops (advance booking required for these).

This exhibition was discussed and planned with Maggie as a collaborative celebration of Abstraction and is in memory of Maggie. It promises to be a very special exhibition of sharing, celebration and friendship.

There will be Workshops and Artist talks, all details of which can be found on the Museum website. For more details click on the link below.
